The objective was to create a colorful, functional, and safe kitchen for a nostalgic elderly San Francisco couple that incorporated modern conveniences while retaining as much of the original kitchen features as possible. It was a fun challenge to blend the strong opinions about color, stay within the original footprint and create a more functional kitchen. The renovated kitchen beautifully reflects the homeowners’ eclectic personalities while paying tribute to the original 1920s arts and crafts style.
